Food Shelf and Food Shelf Check-In Volunteers Needed on Sundays
We now offer Sunday hours to provide better service to our Food Shelf customers. The Haven offers curbside food service to provide a safe environment for customers, volunteers and staff during the Covid-19 pandemic. Volunteers are needed to register Food Shelf customers in the Haven’s online system (Link2Feed) and take their food orders through a window with a microphone/speaker system to place customer order. Sunday hours are 12-3 PM.
Food Shelf volunteers fill the customer orders inside and create food boxes for curbside service outside.
In mid-October, our food shelf tent will be taken down and all operations will be inside. To meet the needs of our customers, we will need additional help with food shelf check-in and reception back-up for two- hour shifts Monday-Friday between 9 am-3 pm.
