 Help Wanted- Lake Morey Public Access Greeters for the 2019 Season

 

The Town of Fairlee, Vermont, and the Lake Morey Protective Association are

seeking Greeters for the Lake Morey Public Access Area for the 2019

season.  Greeters are responsible for educating boaters about the harmful

effects of aquatic invasive species ( AIS) and what they can do to prevent

the spread, provide boat inspections, and stop AIS introduction. A 3-4 hour

training ( you will be paid for your time) is required and will be

available this spring.  The Greeter Program is part of a state wide effort

to prevent the spread of AIS and protect Vermont’s natural water resources.

Greeters will work between 12-16 hours a week on average and must be

available holiday weekends to include Father’s Day, Memorial Day, and Labor

Day.  They must also be available July3rd, 4th, and 5th.

Greeters must be 18 years of age and available May 17 through Labor Day.

$13/hr
