POSITION:    Program Coordinator, Upper Valley                                           FLSA:Salary Non-Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Provide professional and administrative support services to the Granite United Way, Upper Valley Staff.
  2. Provide professional and administrative support to the Resource Development Staff and Campaign Cabinet including but not limited to attending cabinet meetings and providing necessary follow up and coordinating campaign related events.
  3. Provide professional and administrative support to the Community Impact and Community Review Team volunteers including but not limited to attending CIC meetings and taking minutes for those meetings, the review process, site visits/presentations, the deliberation process and database support.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with a small portfolio of workplace campaigns and potentially some donors.
  5. Provide event planning support for presentations, meetings, events and special programs
  6. Represent GUW at assigned networking, partner agency events, campaign presentations and other outside activities that contribute to relationship building and visibility in the community.
  7. Establish and maintain productive relationships with donors, vendors and volunteers.
  8. Greet visitors, respond and direct calls appropriately
  9. Manage general office function such as mail distribution, office supplies, and office service vendor correspondence.
  10. Provide a variety of administrative support services to the Work United program
  11. Provide database support.
  12. Assist with mailings
  13. Compile data, generate reports on an ad hoc basis
  14. Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  1. Associates Degree or Prior Experience a plus.
  2. Prior experience with event planning and fundraising for non-profits preferred.
  3. Demonstrated proficiency managing multiple tasks and adjusting to changing priorities.
  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, database management
  2. Comfort with different software applications
  3. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Ability to travel within GUW service area as required.

ENVIRONMENT:

  This position is primarily based in a general office environment that is clean, well-lighted, environmentally comfortable, free of fumes or airborne particles, and only minimally exposes employees to office solvents limited to those relative to copier equipment.

This position requires the ability to:

 

  1. Minimal requirement to reach at or above shoulder level; occasional reaching below shoulder level required
  2. Hand manipulation – equipment and controls, frequent; grasping and handling, occasional lifting.
  1. Ability to travel throughout the territory required
  2. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include night and weekends
  3. Ability to tolerate prolonged sitting and/or standing and to lift up to approximately 25 pounds to waist high level whenever necessary.
  4. Mobility includes regular sitting, some standing and walking.
