HOME PROVIDER POSITIONS – Windsor County
Lincoln Street Inc. is currently seeking Providers to share their home and lives with individuals with Developmental Disabilities full time and part time. We are looking for people who are compassionate, patient and creative; who have common sense; are able to set limits; and work within a team setting.
Lincoln Street Inc. is currently seeking the following:
A PART-TIME home placement for an non-verbal woman in her 50s who uses a specialized communication system to engage with her caregivers and others around her. She requires assistance with her personal care routine (bathing, changing, toileting, eating). She utilizes a wheelchair for most mobility. As a result we are seeking an accessible home or one that can be modified to meet her needs. We are seeking a home for her to go to long term, every other week as the care is shared with another home provider. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, leafing through her magazines during her free time, going to the library, visiting her special restaurants, and fairs. Her ideal provider will be patient and understanding. Provider will receive a generous tax-free salary ($28,000) plus room & board payments, on-going training & support.
A FULL-TIME home placement, immediately, for an older woman who requires an accessible home and patient, compassionate home providers. She is very engaging and fun; however, she needs the consistency of a routine in her life. She will require support with her personal care needs but loves looking good and getting out into the community. The ideal Provider will receive a generous tax-free salary ($35,000 annually) plus room & board payments, a flexible respite budget, on-going training & support.
A full-time provider for a non-verbal gentleman in his early 60s who requires personal care (bathing, changing, toileting, eating). He enjoys going for walks in the neighborhood, going out for ice cream and walking around stores in the community. The ideal provider will live in a quiet home where he can relax. Provider will receive a generous tax-free salary ($37,000), plus room & board payments, a flexible respite budget, on-going training & support.
