Woodstock Area Job Bank

On Saturday March 23, a driver crossed the center line on Route 4 in

Woodstock and hit the McEwen family head on. Consequently, Bill and Joette

were hospitalized with extensive injuries. We are thanking the Lord that

the children are OK and both Bill and Joette will be released from the

hospital soon. Many of you have asked how you can help. We have set up a

GoFundMe page with a goal of raising some funds to help with the unexpected

costs as a result of the accident and until they get back on their feet.

You may find the GoFundMe page here: https://www.gofundme.com/mcewan-family.

As you can imagine, preparing meals for their family will be a challenge

since they are temporarily wheelchair bound during their long recovery. We,

at First Congregational Church of Woodstock invite you to participate in a

meal train, https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/q8v15r . The McEwens will need

assistance with dinners, 4 days per week, for an estimated 6 weeks

depending on their recovery. We will shorten or lengthen the duration as

they become stronger and able. Included in this page are details such as

food and timing preferences, contact information, and dates available.

Please consider signing up for a meal or two by clicking on the available

dates, and please share this with others who are asking, “How can I help?”

If you have any questions, please call 457-9818 or e-mail fccwinfo@gmail.com

Thank you in advance for your help in caring for this family in need.
