Woodstock Area Job Bank Pilots Virtual Networking Group 

for Recent Grads/Early Career Job Professionals

In addition to the devastating health impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, the virus has taken a big toll on our national and local economy. Many are looking for work, and competition for available jobs is fierce.

A job search can be lonely and overwhelming. The good news is that there are many strategies and resources you can use to manage your search and land a great opportunity.  

It’s also important for to know that you aren’t in it alone.  Meeting (virtually) with fellow job seekers to set goals, develop networking strategies, share leads, get peer feedback, practice elevator pitches, and stay on track and accountable can be very helpful.

The Woodstock Area Job Bank is piloting a small virtual Zoom networking group beginning March 8th.

Here are the details:

Who:  Initial pilot is designed for Woodstock Area recent grads/early career professionals looking to launch their careers.  We’ve had a number of recent requests for support from this audience.

What: Each meeting is a working session.  Participants will set weekly goals, practice and strategize as well as give and receive constructive feedback.

When:  Kick start your week on Monday mornings from 8:00 to 9:30 am in March (March 8,15,22,29) 16,

Where: Zoom

Participant Limit:  Up to 7 participants (so everyone gets “airtime”).

Commitment:  Participants  must commit to the full month of meetings.  Being a reliable team member benefits you and the team.
